How about adding a create new post panel in one of the future releases?
Looks like a great plugin. Is there any chance that you bump the version so WP 2.8.2 doesn’t complain about it not having been tested with that version?

As for the creating new posts panel, it’s beyond the scope of this plugin.
You might want to try TDO Mini Forms for this (or even BuddyPress).
When I load this plugin, target_blank does not work for URL:s, every page opens in the same window.
Any ideas?

What’s the chance of this being able to edit custom taxonomies? It handles tags nicely, but doesn’t hook up to custom taxonomies?
